Flowers by Morgan

A few weeks ago I went with my friend Morgan Primett to photograph her as she set up flowers for an event. Morgan is a high school friend of mine, and somebody I’ve kept in close contact with, so we both had a lot of fun working together. She needed some pictures to start advertising herself as an independent florist so we worked together to create some branding images, and hopefully we will collaborate again in the near future! She worked in Shop Rite’s floral department for years before they cut the department, so now she is looking towards the future and hopes to open her own florist business.

For this event Morgan was working with hydrangeas, baby’s breath, and greenery— as requested by the event planner. I loved Morgan’s creativity and what she was able to come up with using such simple flowers. I have always thought that Morgan’s floral designs brought a lot of creativity to the table and that she is able to turn anything into a unique piece of art. She specializes in prom flowers- boutonnieres and corsages, and wedding flowers- alter pieces, bouquets, etc. Reach out to her with any of your floral needs if you’re in the Mystic, CT area.
